Brain Out 2 Level 16

๐Ÿ“ Walkthrough

Overview

Level 16 asks you to "Find a way to turn werewolves back into humans." Inside a dark room, a frightened girl sits on the floor while a snarling werewolf stands menacingly. Through the window behind them, a bright yellow full moon glows in the night sky. The folklore reason a person becomes a werewolf is exposure to the full moon. So rather than fighting the monster, you must block the moonlight so he can no longer see the moon. Once the moon is hidden, the werewolf transforms back into a confused human man.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Understand the trigger. Look at the window behind the werewolf โ€” a bright full moon is shining in. The werewolf is a monster because he is under the full moon's light.
  1. Do not fight him. There is no need to attack the werewolf or use the ice in the fridge / the bucket of water; those are distractions.
  1. Block the full moon. Cover the window so the werewolf cannot see the moon. Draw the curtains shut across the window (or otherwise cover the moon) to shut out the moonlight.
  1. Watch the transformation. With the moon no longer visible, the werewolf shrinks and changes back into a bare-chested, confused man in shorts, scratching his head with a red question mark above him.
  1. Confirm the clear. The girl stops panicking, the man stands there bewildered, and the prompt reads "As long as the werewolf did not see the full moon!" The green next button appears.

Strategy & Reasoning

The level relies on classic werewolf lore: the full moon is what triggers the transformation. The reward text says it plainly โ€” the werewolf stays human "as long as he did not see the full moon." That means the solution is not to defeat the beast but to remove the cause: block the moonlight.

Everything else in the room is a red herring. The open fridge full of ice cubes and the bucket of water tempt you to use cold or water against the monster, but neither is needed. The window and its tied-back curtains are the real lever. By closing the curtains over the window, you cut off the werewolf's view of the moon, and he reverts to human form automatically.

This is the same "remove the trigger" logic as other Brain Out levels: identify what is causing the unwanted state and take it away rather than fighting the symptom. Here, the cause is the visible full moon; cover it, and the monster is gone.

Tips & Common Mistakes

  • Mistake: trying to attack or scare the werewolf. You cannot fight him. The goal is to turn him back, which only happens once the moon is hidden.
  • Mistake: using the fridge ice or the water bucket. These look like weapons but do nothing. Leave them alone.
  • Mistake: missing the moon connection. The full moon in the window is the cause. Cover the window / close the curtains so the werewolf cannot see the moon; then he transforms back into a human on his own.
