Brain Out 2 Level 17
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 17 asks "Who looks the most like her?" A woman in a red dress stands thinking, with a question mark beside her. Below are three candidates: a dog, a man in a suit who happens to wear similar glasses and short dark hair, and a full-length standing mirror. The trick is that nobody else looks as much like her as she does โ and the mirror shows her own reflection. Once you move the woman in front of the mirror, her exact reflection appears, and the game confirms "Of course herself!"
- Difficulty: Easy
- Estimated moves: 1
Step-by-Step Solution
- Read the question. You must pick (or create) the person who looks most like the woman in the red dress.
- Compare the candidates. The dog clearly does not look like her. The man in the suit wears glasses and short hair, so he is a tempting look-alike, but he is still a different person.
- Notice the full-length mirror. The standing mirror on the right is empty in the opening scene. A mirror shows the person standing in front of it.
- Drag the woman in front of the mirror. Move the woman over so she stands directly in front of the full-length mirror.
- Her reflection appears. The mirror now shows her exact reflection โ same red dress, same hairstyle, same glasses. This copy is identical to her.
- Confirm the clear. The prompt reads "Of course herself!" and the green next button appears. Her own reflection is the thing that looks most like her.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a riddle about identity and reflection. At first the man in the suit seems like the answer because he shares her glasses and short haircut โ the game deliberately gives him a vaguely similar look to mislead you. But a copy made of a different person can never match as perfectly as a mirror image.
The empty mirror is the clue: it has no reflection yet because the woman is not standing in front of it. By dragging her to the mirror, you produce an exact mirror-image twin. The reward line "Of course herself!" says it plainly โ the one who looks most like her is herself, seen in the mirror. This is a classic Brain Out reversal: instead of choosing a look-alike, you use the mirror to generate a perfect likeness.
Do not tap the man and do not tap the dog. Neither is a match. The solution is to bring the woman to the mirror so her reflection becomes the look-alike. Once the mirror shows her, the level clears.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: tapping the glasses-wearing man. He looks somewhat like her (same glasses, short hair), but he is a different person and not the answer.
- Mistake: tapping the dog. The dog is obviously not her and is just a joke option.
- Mistake: tapping the empty mirror. Tapping the mirror alone does nothing because there is no one in front of it. You must drag the woman over to stand in front of the mirror so her reflection shows; then "herself" is the answer.
