Brain Out 2 Level 7
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 7 asks "Is there any way to wake up the sleep princess?" A crowned princess on the left is fast asleep with closed eyes and "zzz", a gloomy prince on the right holds a rose and looks worried. In the middle hang a pink heart-shaped balloon, and on the right there is a magic cauldron brewing green smoke. Notably, the princess has a blue diamond resting on her forehead. Ordinary attempts โ waiting for the prince's kiss or tapping the princess โ do nothing. The solution is two physical moves: take the diamond off her forehead and pop the loud balloon, after which she finally wakes up and falls for the prince.
- Difficulty: Regular
- Estimated moves: 2
Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the sleeping princess. Notice the blue diamond sitting on her forehead, over her eyes. The prince beside her cannot wake her just by standing there.
- Do not tap the princess or the cauldron. Kissing/waking the princess directly does nothing, and brewing the potion in the cauldron is a distraction.
- Drag the blue diamond off the princess's forehead. Place your finger on the gem and drag it away from her face. It comes off and turns into a diamond ring at the lower-left of the screen.
- Pop the heart balloon. Tap the pink heart balloon (or tap/press it to burst it). It explodes with a loud "BOOM!" and a green checkmark appears, marking this as the correct move.
- Watch the princess wake. After the loud pop and with the forehead gem removed, the princess opens her eyes. A red heart floats up between her and the prince, and both of them smile at each other.
- Confirm the clear. The prompt changes to "The prince finally waited for the princess" and the green next button appears. The level is solved.
Strategy & Reasoning
The level subverts the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. You expect a prince's kiss to wake her, but the game refuses that, so you must interact with the scene objects instead. The blue diamond on her forehead is not just jewelry โ it is covering her eyes like a spell, and dragging it off is the first necessary move. It even transforms into an engagement ring, hinting at the romance payoff.
The heart balloon is the second required object. The game marks the popped balloon with a green check, confirming the burst is intentional. A balloon popping with a loud "boom" startles the sleeping princess awake โ a classic loud-noise waking gag. The magic cauldron looks important (it is steaming and bubbling) but is pure decoration; you never need to use the potion.
Doing only one of the two moves is not enough. In the intermediate frame, the ring has appeared and the balloon has already burst, yet the princess is still drowsy โ the full wake-up with the floating heart only completes after both the gem is removed and the balloon is popped.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: tapping the princess or the prince expecting a kiss. The fairy-tale kiss does not work here. You must move objects on the screen.
- Mistake: ignoring the forehead diamond. The blue gem on the princess's forehead is draggable. If you only pop the balloon and never move the gem, the ring never appears and the romance ending does not trigger.
- Mistake: trying to use the cauldron. The steaming magic pot looks like the obvious "wake-up potion," but it is a decoy. Leave it alone and instead pop the heart balloon for the loud noise.
