Overview

Halloween Challenge Level 52 is an apple-bush collection level. The objective bar at the top shows a single red-apple icon with a starting count of 10, and several green apple-bush tiles (each carrying one or more red apples) are scattered across the 9x9 board. To clear the level you must place the drawn wood blocks so that complete rows or columns are finished; every row/column clear scoops up the apple bushes sitting on it and decrements the apple counter by the number of apples removed. The winning video opens on the tripledot splash screen, then drops into the level with the counter at 10 and the bushes clustered in the center of the board. The counter falls through 4, 3, and 1 as clears chain, ending on the "WELL DONE!" banner with the apple counter at 0 and three apples floating up over the dimmed grid.

Step-by-Step Solution

1. When the level loads, the apple counter reads 10. The bushes are concentrated in the center band of the board, with a vertical stack of bushes running through the middle column and a single bush off to the left. Your goal is to complete rows and columns that cross these bushes, not to fill the board randomly.
2. Begin by anchoring the offered wood blocks into the open outer pockets. Place small corner pieces and short bars along the top, bottom, and side rows so that you are filling lines that already pass through a bush. Each completed line sweeps up the bushes on it.
3. Early clears should target the central vertical bush stack. Because several bushes share that middle column, completing a horizontal row through it removes one bush per row; work downward through the stack so that each clear takes one or two apples.
4. By the mid point of the attempt the counter has dropped to 4. The board is roughly half filled, most of the central bush stack is gone, and only a few bushes remain. Keep completing the rows that still contain the last bushes; the counter ticks down from 4 to 3 to 1.
5. On the final move, place the last offered block so that it completes the row or column holding the final bush. The line flashes and clears, the last apple bush is swept off, and the counter falls from 1 to 0.
6. Immediately after the final clear the board dims, the collected apples float upward off the grid, and the "WELL DONE!" banner appears with the apple counter reading 0. The level is complete at this point; the video then cuts to a closing ad.

This level rewards line clears through the bush clusters. Because bushes are removed only when their row or column is completed, the winning approach is to build toward the central vertical stack early and then peel off the remaining bushes one clear at a time. Space management still matters: a board that fills up removes your ability to choose which line to finish next, so edge-anchoring and keeping the central lanes open is what allows the final clear to happen cleanly.

Tips & Common Mistakes

• Do not try to remove a bush directly by filling its square; bushes are cleared only when the whole row or column they sit on is completed.
• Avoid piling large blocks into the center early; that fragments the lines you will later want to finish through the bush stack.
• If the counter is still high and the board is more than half full, you need a row clear through a bush, not more piece stacking.
• Watch the offered pieces: a horizontal bar finishes a row through a bush, while a vertical piece finishes a column. Choose the orientation that matches the remaining bushes.
• The level ends the instant the counter hits 0; you do not need to clear the whole board.
