Brain Out 2 Level 3
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 3 asks "How to make crops grow?" The screen shows a small seedling already poking out of a mound of brown soil, but directly above it hangs a big pile of dark grey rain clouds blocking the sky. The puzzle is about what the seedling actually needs: water is not the problem, sunlight is. Once the clouds are moved aside, a sun appears and the plant rapidly grows into a surprising "crop" โ a money tree covered in gold coins, with a happy mole popping out of the dirt.

Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the setup. There is a tiny green seedling in the soil and a thick bank of dark clouds overhead. The question is how to make the crop grow, so the missing ingredient has to come from the sky.
- Do not tap the seedling or the soil. Watering or poking the plant directly does nothing; the problem is above ground, not in the dirt.
- Drag the dark clouds away from the top of the screen. Place your finger on the grey cloud pile and swipe or drag it to the side, off the seedling. The clouds slide away as a movable object.
- Let the sun appear. Once the clouds are cleared, a bright smiling sun shows up in the sky above the seedling. Sunlight falls on the little plant.
- Watch the plant grow. The seedling quickly grows into a full, lush green tree heavy with shiny gold coins. A cheerful mole wearing coin-shaped glasses pops out of the soil, and sparkles fill the screen.
- Confirm the clear. The prompt changes to "Plant something amazing!" and the green next button appears. That money tree is your amazing crop, and the level is solved.
Strategy & Reasoning
The level teaches that not everything is watered by the rain cloud itself โ the clouds are the obstacle, not the helper. The dark, gloomy clouds are deliberately drawn right over the plant so you instinctively think of rain, but rain clouds block the sun, and a seedling cannot thrive without light. By dragging the clouds aside, you uncover the sun, which is the real trigger.
The punchline is that the "amazing" crop is not vegetables but a money tree โ gold coins growing on branches, plus a money-loving mole. This fits Brain Out's humor: the thing that grows best in the game is literally wealth. The mole and the coin sparkles are just reward animation; you do not need to tap them.
The whole puzzle is one drag. Trying to tap the clouds expecting them to rain, or tapping the seedling repeatedly, wastes time because the clouds must physically be moved off-screen. Once the sun is visible, the growth animation plays automatically.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: expecting the clouds to rain. Players tap the dark cloud hoping it will water the seedling. It does nothing โ the clouds are blocking sunlight and must be removed.
- Mistake: tapping the seedling. The plant will not grow on its own no matter how many times you tap it. You must clear the sky first.
- Mistake: only moving one small cloud. There is a whole bank of layered clouds. Drag the entire cloud pile off to the side until the sun is fully revealed; if the sun does not appear, you have not moved enough of the clouds.
