Brain Out 2 Level 28
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 28 says "Help him shake a prize!" A man stands by a slot machine daydreaming about three diamonds equaling a bag of money. The machine currently shows [diamond, lemon, smiley], and there is a single coin on the floor. Normally pulling the lever is pure luck, but the game does not require luck here. The first reel already shows a diamond; you can manually set the other two reels to diamonds as well, making three in a row and winning the jackpot.
- Difficulty: Regular
- Estimated moves: 2
Step-by-Step Solution
- Read the goal. His thought bubble shows three diamonds adding up to a money bag. You need three diamond symbols on the slot reels.
- Look at the reels. The left reel already shows a diamond. The middle shows a lemon and the right shows a smiley face.
- Do not rely on the lever. Pulling the arm with one coin is random and will not guarantee three diamonds.
- Manually adjust the reels. Drag / swipe the middle reel until it turns to a diamond, and do the same to the right reel until it also shows a diamond. (You can also drag the existing left diamond across to line the other reels up.)
- Line up three diamonds. Once all three windows show a diamond, the machine lights up with sparkles.
- Confirm the clear. The man throws his fists up in celebration and the prompt reads "You are so lucky!" The green next button appears.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a "don't gamble, just cheat" puzzle. The man daydreams about the jackpot and the machine looks like a normal one-armed bandit, which makes you think you must insert the coin and pull the lever and hope. But Brain Out puzzles are not about luck โ they are about noticing what you can directly manipulate.
The left reel conveniently already displays a diamond, hinting that the symbols are movable. Instead of risking the single coin on a random spin, you can slide the middle and right reels yourself until each lands on a diamond. With three diamonds aligned, the jackpot triggers instantly. The reward even jokes "You are so lucky!" when really you simply set the result by hand.
The coin on the ground and the lever are distractions. Inserting the coin and pulling the arm is the "normal" but unreliable path. The smart solution is to treat the reels as draggable and line up the three diamonds directly.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: putting in the coin and pulling the lever. A random spin may not land three diamonds, and you only have one coin.
- Mistake: ignoring the first diamond. The left reel is already a diamond โ use it as the target symbol and make the other two match it.
- Mistake: tapping the buttons. The round buttons do not set the result. Drag/swipe the middle and right slot windows themselves to rotate them onto a diamond; once all three show diamonds, the jackpot and "You are so lucky!" appear.
