Brain Puzzle 3 Level 164
📝 Walkthrough
Overview
Level 164 is a timed "who can I trust" investigation puzzle. The yellow banner says "Help her identify the person she can truly call for help" with a 3:00 countdown. In a blood-smeared pool locker room, a girl in a pink swimsuit is crouched, terrified, hiding inside a green locker. A dead man lies face-down at the pool edge with blood pooling in the water. On the left stands a muscular man in a green t-shirt and ripped jeans; on the bench are folded towels and a red-and-white gym bag; a large magnifying glass hovers over the scene, and an EXIT sign hangs above broken glass. The goal is to use the magnifying glass to investigate each possible helper and find the one person she can actually trust.
- Difficulty: Hard
- Estimated moves: 5
Step-by-Step Solution
- Inspect the muscular man first. Tap the magnifying glass on the green-t-shirt man. Zooming in, he is not a rescuer — he is wearing a white doctor's coat and stethoscope, but his red first-aid case hides a bloodied axe inside, and a spray can floats by his head. He is a fake doctor / the killer, so she must not call out to him.
- Inspect the Hawaiian-shirt man. Tap the magnifying glass again on the next candidate — a blond man in a Hawaiian shirt, khaki shorts and flip-flops. He stands there scratching his head with red question marks, confused and useless in a crisis; he is not the right person either.
- Eliminate the dead body. The man face-down at the pool edge is already unconscious, so he cannot help. Do not call out to him.
- Identify the real helper. Once the muscular man and the confused civilian are ruled out, a genuine white-haired police officer in a dark uniform appears, holding a flashlight and wearing a badge and duty belt.
- Crawl out to the officer. The girl opens the locker door and crawls out on her hands and knees toward the real police officer, who shines his light on the crime scene. The red "Completed" banner drops with confetti.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a trust-identification puzzle. The magnifying glass is the tool: each candidate must be inspected before she decides whether to call for help. The twist is that the seemingly strong, authoritative man (muscular, doctor coat) is actually the dangerous one — the axe in his medical bag gives him away. The casually dressed Hawaiian-shirt guy is well-meaning but hopelessly confused. Only the uniformed police officer with a flashlight and badge is a real, trustworthy authority.
The blood on the walls, the broken EXIT sign and the body at the pool set the crime-scene tone; the towels, gym bag and wet-floor sign are set dressing. The magnifying glass moves from suspect to suspect, revealing what they are really carrying. The girl stays in the locker the whole time until the true officer appears.
There is no way to just guess; tapping the wrong person would mean calling out to the killer. The level completes automatically once the fake doctor and the confused civilian are ruled out and the real officer arrives.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: trusting the man in the doctor's coat. He is wearing the coat but hiding an axe. Always inspect him with the magnifying glass first.
- Mistake: calling out to the confused Hawaiian-shirt guy. He has question marks over his head and cannot help. Move on to the next candidate.
- Mistake: tapping the dead body. He is face-down and cannot respond. The real helper is the uniformed officer with the flashlight.
