Brain Puzzle 3 Level 165
📝 Walkthrough
Overview
Level 165 is a timed wedding-night privacy puzzle. The yellow banner says "Help the Newlyweds Deal with the Peeping Tom" with a 3:00 countdown. In a rose-decorated bedroom on the wedding night, the groom in a white suit and blue tie and the bride in a voluminous white wedding dress sit nervously on a red bed. A red-haired woman is visible peeking through the left window. Around the room: a multi-tiered wedding cake on a cart, a wooden wardrobe, an AC vent on the wall, a heart balloon, a wedding photo, a security camera mounted high, a large plant, a trash can, and a heart-shaped padlock on the door. The subtitle reads "Darling, tonight is our wedding night, we must cherish it." The goal is to block every way someone can spy on them.
- Difficulty: Regular
- Estimated moves: 6
Step-by-Step Solution
- Board up the AC vent. Tap the AC vent on the wall. Wooden planks appear nailed over it, closing off the air duct where a peeper could hide or watch through.
- Open the wardrobe. Tap the wardrobe doors. They swing open to an empty interior — the peeper who was hiding inside has been flushed out; planks lie on the floor where the door was boarded.
- Cover the security camera. Tap the security camera high on the wall. The camera is covered, and the wedding photo on the wall gets blurred/censored so it can't be used as a lens. The subtitle reads "Why is the camera turned on?"
- Deal with the peeping cat. Tap the fat orange cat clinging to the door. It is removed; the subtitle reads "The kitten is not allowed to peep either." A small monitor/screen from the camera setup drops into the trash can.
- Lock the door. Tap the heart-shaped padlock on the door; it clicks shut, securing the room.
- The newlyweds embrace. With the vent boarded, the wardrobe empty, the camera covered, the cat gone and the door locked, the newlyweds finally have privacy. They sit on the bed hugging and blushing. The red "Completed" banner drops with confetti.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a "seal every spy hole" puzzle. The peeping tom is not a single person but a set of possible observation points: the AC duct, the wardrobe, the security camera, the window, and even the clingy cat. Each tap blocks one surveillance route. The wedding photo being blurred is the tell that the camera was watching through it.
The heart-shaped padlock is the final lock; the cake cart, plant and balloon are set dressing. The red-haired woman at the window is the visual hint that someone is outside, but the actual fixes are interior: board the vent, empty the wardrobe, cover the camera, remove the cat, lock up. The trash can swallowing the small monitor is the joke payoff — they literally throw the surveillance equipment away.
There is no way to confront the peeper directly; the solution is to make the room unobservable. The level completes automatically once all five spy routes are blocked and the door is locked.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: only locking the door. The vent, wardrobe and camera are still open. Board them and cover the camera first.
- Mistake: forgetting the security camera. If the wedding photo is still clear, the camera is still live. Tap the high camera to cover it.
- Mistake: leaving the cat on the door. The clingy cat counts as a peeper. If it is still there, tap it to remove it.
