Brain Puzzle 3 Level 154

📝 Walkthrough

Overview

Level 154 is a timed street-safety puzzle. The yellow banner says "Solve the crisis the grandma might face" with a 3:00 countdown. At a crosswalk, an elderly grandmother in a pink cardigan and brown skirt with a cane is about to be snatched by the Grim Reaper in a black robe swinging his scythe. Dangers all around her: a drunk man leaning out of a red car with a bottle, a woman walking an aggressive red dog, a skateboarder carrying a box of oranges, an open manhole on the sidewalk, a banana peel by a trash can, a little boy about to kick a soccer ball, and a paint bucket on the ground. The goal is to neutralize every hazard so the grandma can cross safely.

  • Difficulty: Hard
  • Estimated moves: 6

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Summon the angel to stop time. Tap the air above the street. A blond angel in a white robe with wings appears, floating and holding up a clock, freezing the moment. The traffic light turns red and the cars stop.
  1. Freeze the Grim Reaper. Tap the Grim Reaper; he is pinned behind the traffic-light pole and then slumps onto it wearing red sunglasses, completely blocked from reaching the grandma.
  1. Pull over the drunk driver. Tap the drunk man in the red car. The traffic officer stands up from the curb, strides over, and arrests him; the drunk driver kneels on the road holding up a "no drunk driving" sign.
  1. Barricade the open manhole. Tap the open manhole. Traffic cones and warning tape are set up around it so no one falls in.
  1. Control the aggressive dog. Tap the red dog; the leash is held tight and the dog is pulled back under control, no longer lunging.
  1. Calm the soccer kid. Tap the little boy; the soccer ball is taken away and he stops, head marked with a question mark. With the Reaper blocked, the car stopped, the manhole covered, the dog restrained and the kid calmed, the grandmother is now safe on the sidewalk by the building wall, and the angel floats in the middle making a heart shape. The red "Completed" banner drops.

Strategy & Reasoning

This is a "grandma safety" spot-the-danger puzzle. The Grim Reaper is the personification of all the ordinary street hazards that could hurt an old person: a drunk driver, a vicious dog, an open manhole, a falling skateboarder, a stray ball. Each tap removes one hazard. The angel holding the clock is the master move — by stopping time, you get the chance to fix everything before the Reaper strikes.

The traffic light turning red is the visible sign that time has been frozen. After that, the cop handles the drunk driver, the cones handle the manhole, the leash handles the dog, and the ball handles the kid. The grandma does not need to be moved; once the hazards are gone, she simply stands safely by the wall.

There is no way to fight the Reaper directly; he is deterred by sunglasses and a traffic pole because the underlying dangers are gone. Tapping the grandma herself does nothing. The level completes automatically once all five hazards are cleared.

Tips & Common Mistakes

  • Mistake: forgetting the angel / red light. If the Reaper still reaches the grandma, you did not stop time first. Tap the street to summon the angel and turn the light red.
  • Mistake: missing the manhole or the drunk driver. These two are the deadliest hazards. If the level will not complete, check whether the manhole has cones around it and whether the drunk driver is holding the sign.
  • Mistake: leaving the dog or the kid loose. The aggressive red dog and the soccer ball must be controlled. If they are still active, tap them.
