Brain Out 2 Level 99
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 99 orders you to "Frighten the girl!" A girl stands calmly on the left while a boy on the right scratches his head with a question mark, unsure how to scare her. On the ground lie a cola bottle and a deflated yellow balloon near the boy. The victory line, "Don't blow, The balloon is about to explode!", reveals the prank: the boy inflates the balloon until it is stretched to bursting, which terrifies the girl.

Step-by-Step Solution
- Look at the props. Note the calm girl, the puzzled boy, and the deflated yellow balloon lying on the ground.
- Do not throw the cola bottle or shove the girl. Those do not produce the scare the game wants.
- Pick up the balloon and blow it up. Take the yellow balloon and have the boy blow it up (long-press / keep blowing into it). It swells bigger and bigger.
- Keep inflating until it is huge. The balloon stretches to a giant, taut size, wobbling as it is about to pop.
- The girl gets frightened. The girl sees the balloon about to explode and recoils, trembling with sweat and big exclamation marks above her head. The screen says "Don't blow, The balloon is about to explode!" and the level is cleared.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a simple prank puzzle. The boy has to scare the girl, and the only object that naturally frightens someone in a comedic way is an over-inflated balloon about to burst. The cola bottle is a decoy that looks like it could be a weapon, but the game's punchline is a childish balloon-prank rather than anything aggressive.
The deflated balloon on the ground is the key item. Left on the floor it does nothing; once the boy blows it up to an enormous, near-bursting size, the threat of the pop becomes the scare. The girl's trembling and sweat show she is afraid of the balloon exploding near her.
There is no other trick โ no hiding, no mask, no ghost. Recognizing that "frighten" means scaring her with a balloon that is about to pop points straight to inflating the balloon as much as possible.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: using the cola bottle. Throwing or using the bottle is not the intended scare. Leave it alone.
- Mistake: barely inflating the balloon. A small balloon is not scary. Blow it up until it is huge and taut, wobbling about to explode.
- Mistake: tapping the girl directly. Poking or surprising her directly does not work. The fear comes from the giant about-to-pop balloon next to her.
Walkthrough Notes
The girl stands perfectly calm, so scaring her directly does nothing. The objects on the ground tell the story: a deflated yellow balloon and a cola bottle. The cola is carbonated, and shaking it builds pressure. The trick is to inflate the balloon using the fizzing cola until the balloon is stretched to the limit, right on the edge of popping. The sudden sight of an about-to-burst balloon is what terrifies her. The victory line "Don't blow, The balloon is about to explode!" confirms that the scare comes from the imminent pop, not from a ghost or a loud noise. Compare this with tapping her or jumping out: those do nothing. The pressure trick is the only lever.
