Brain Out 2 Level 101
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 101 asks "How not to line up to get in?" A long queue of people waits at a regular entrance on the left, while a VIP entrance on the right stands empty, guarded by a stern bouncer in sunglasses and a red velvet rope marked "VIP." A woman in an orange dress holding a ticket stands nearby, wondering how to skip the line. The victory line, "Just be a VIP!", reveals that she simply needs a VIP status to walk straight past the rope.

- Estimated moves: 1
Step-by-Step Solution
- Compare the entrances. Note the long, slow queue at the normal door and the empty VIP door on the right guarded by the bouncer.
- Do not join the crowd. Standing in line defeats the purpose of the puzzle; you want to skip it.
- Find the VIP label. The velvet rope across the VIP entrance has a tag that says "VIP." That label is what grants access.
- Drag the "VIP" tag onto the woman. Move the VIP label so the woman wears it as a badge on her chest. Instantly she looks the part.
- The bouncer lets her through. The guard recognizes her VIP badge, unhooks the red rope, and she walks straight into the VIP entrance with flowers around her while the queue stares in envy. The screen says "Just be a VIP!" and the level is cleared.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a status-symbol puzzle. The game shows two doors: one for the masses and one for VIPs. The queue is the thing you are told to avoid, so the solution cannot be to wait in it. The only difference between the two entrances is the VIP designation, and the physical object carrying that designation is the "VIP" tag on the rope.
By moving that tag onto the woman, you are not sneaking past โ you are literally making her "a VIP," exactly as the caption jokes. Once she displays the badge, the bouncer treats her as entitled and lifts the rope. The waiting crowd's jealous reactions confirm she skipped the line.
There is no bribing the guard or distracting him. The puzzle is about the label itself being portable. Recognizing that the "VIP" text can be dragged onto the customer turns the whole joke.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: joining the queue. Standing in line is exactly what you are told to avoid.
- Mistake: trying to bribe or shove past the guard. The bouncer will not let you through by force; he needs to see VIP status.
- Mistake: leaving the tag on the rope. You must drag the "VIP" tag from the rope onto the woman so she wears the badge. Only then does the rope lift.
Walkthrough Notes
The queue on the left is a distraction. The woman holds a ticket, but a normal ticket only earns her a place in line. The VIP entrance on the right is guarded and closed, so walking up to it normally fails. The trick is that the word VIP can be dragged from the sign or from her ticket idea onto her, upgrading her status. Once she is treated as a VIP, the rope lifts and she walks straight in. The victory line "Just be a VIP!" spells it out. Compare this with bribing the bouncer or pushing past: those fail. The key is to literally make her a VIP by applying the label, not by fighting the guard.
