Brain Out 2 Level 89
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 89 asks you to "Find Aquaman" on a sunny beach. A woman lies sunbathing on a towel under a striped parasol, while a bearded tourist in a black T-shirt and shorts walks past with obvious heart-shaped eyes, leering at her. There is a large rock, a palm tree, and the sea lapping the shore to the right. Aquaman is not standing anywhere obvious โ the twist is that the leering tourist is Aquaman himself, disguised in plain clothes. The victory line, "I am the king of the sea!", comes from him once his golden trident appears.

Step-by-Step Solution
- Scan the beach. Notice the sunbathing woman, the large rock on the left, the palm tree, and the bearded tourist strolling along the water's edge. There is no obvious superhero anywhere.
- Do not hunt around the rock. The big rock looks like a hiding spot, but nothing is concealed behind or under it. Aquaman is not buried in the sand either.
- Look in the sea for the trident. Aquaman's signature golden trident is hidden in the ocean. Drag/pull it up out of the water and bring it to the man.
- Hand the trident to the tourist. The moment the bearded man takes hold of the golden trident, the reveal begins โ he is still in his casual clothes at first, clutching the trident.
- Watch the transformation. The man transforms into full Aquaman: golden armored top, green scaled arms, dark trousers, and his hair grows out. He stands tall, sparkles around him, and declares "I am the king of the sea!" The sunbathing woman stares in shock. The level is cleared.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a "who is in disguise" puzzle. The game makes the bearded tourist look like a shameless beach creep with his heart eyes, so you assume he is just a random bystander and start searching the rock, sand, and water for a hidden Aquaman. That is the misdirection.
The anchor object is the trident. Aquaman is defined by his golden three-pronged weapon, and the sea is his domain โ so the trident logically lies hidden in the water. Once you pull it out and the man takes it, the disguise falls away and the leering tourist becomes the superhero. The heart eyes and casual clothes were just camouflage.
There is no need to swap identities, move the woman, or dig in the sand. The whole puzzle is realizing that the suspicious-looking man right in front of you is the target, and that the key to revealing him is retrieving his trident from the ocean.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: searching the rock or sand. The big rock and the beach are scenery; Aquaman is not hidden under either of them.
- Mistake: accusing the woman. The sunbathing woman is not Aquaman. The bearded tourist walking by is the one in disguise.
- Mistake: expecting him to transform on tap alone. He changes only after his golden trident is pulled from the sea and placed in his hands. Retrieve the trident from the water first.
