Brain Out 2 Level 79
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 79 tasks you with charging a dying phone "before it shuts down." A worried man sits on a sofa holding his phone, which shows a red low-battery warning. On the coffee table there is a portable charger with its cable, an orange fruit, and a loose charging plug lying on the sofa. The portable power bank on the table actually reads 0% and cannot help, so the obvious route fails. The hidden mechanic, revealed by the victory caption, is that "fruit can conduct electricity" โ the orange itself becomes the power source.
- Difficulty: Regular
- Estimated moves: 2
Step-by-Step Solution
- Survey the room before touching anything. Notice the phone's low-battery bubble above the man and the charging cable whose plug is lying idle on the sofa. Read the room: the white power bank on the table, the loose orange, and the sofa plug.
- Rule out the dead power bank. The speech bubble next to the table device shows a battery at 0% (empty). Dragging that power bank to the phone will not charge it, so do not waste moves trying to connect it normally.
- Recognize the real conductor. The level's twist is that ordinary fruit conducts electricity in this puzzle world. The orange sitting on the coffee table is not decoration โ it is the hidden battery.
- Drag the orange onto the charging plug. Move the orange from the table over to the white charging plug resting on the sofa, so the cable plugs directly into the fruit. Alternatively, drag the plug toward the orange until they connect.
- Confirm the charge. Once the cable is plugged into the orange, the phone's bubble switches from a red empty battery to a green full one, flowers appear around the relieved man, and the victory message "Fruit can conduct electricity!" appears. The level is cleared.
Strategy & Reasoning
This is a lateral-thinking puzzle that punishes the conventional mental model. The game puts a power bank right in front of you and invites you to use it, but that device is deliberately shown at 0% so the "correct-looking" solution dead-ends. By presenting a real, working cable plug, the game primes you to look for something to plug it into โ and the only unused, conductive object in the room is the orange.
The open cabinet and the hammer revealed inside it are pure decoys. Many players will open the drawer expecting a tool, but breaking furniture or hunting for a cable is unnecessary. The intended logic is simple physics flavored for a cartoon: fruit (especially citrus) contains electrolytes that can act as a weak conductor, and the game exaggerates this into a usable battery.
Because there is no visible battery percentage on the orange, the only way to discover the trick is to stop assuming the power bank matters and ask "what else can this cable connect to?" Once you treat the plug as the active element rather than the power bank, the orange becomes the obvious partner.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: dragging the dead power bank. The 0% charger looks like the answer but is a decoy. Connecting it to the phone does nothing. Look for a different object to plug the cable into.
- Mistake: opening the cabinet / grabbing the hammer. The cabinet door opens to reveal a hammer, which is irrelevant. You do not need a tool or a spare cable โ the fruit is the power source.
- Mistake: moving the phone instead of the cable. Dragging the phone onto the orange won't register. You must connect the charging plug to the fruit so the current flows through the cable to the phone.
