Brain Out 2 Level 49
๐ Walkthrough
Overview
Level 49 asks "Do you know who is Princess Pea?" Two princesses sleep in two identical canopy beds. On the left nightstand there is a candle and a pea sitting on a plate, and on the right sits an open treasure chest. In the fairy tale, the real Princess Pea is so sensitive she can feel a single pea through a huge stack of mattresses. You must place the pea under one mattress and see which princess wakes up uncomfortable.
- Difficulty: Regular
- Estimated moves: 2
Step-by-Step Solution
- Read the story. The Princess Pea is identified by being able to feel a pea under the mattress.
- Locate the pea. There is a green pea on the plate on the left nightstand.
- Drag the pea. Pick up the pea from the plate.
- Put it under a mattress. Slide the pea under the mattress of the right-hand bed.
- The sensitive princess feels it. The princess in the right bed wakes up uncomfortable, with a tangle and sparkles beside her, because she can feel the pea through the mattress.
- Confirm the clear. The pea is now visible beneath the right mattress, and the prompt reads "In the story, the delicate princess can sense the peas under the mattress!" The green next button appears.
Strategy & Reasoning
This recreates the classic "Princess and the Pea" test. Both women look like princesses and are fast asleep, so you cannot tell them apart by sight. The whole point of the tale is the physical test: slip a pea under the bedding and the truly delicate princess will feel it and cannot sleep.
The pea is conveniently sitting on the nightstand. By dragging it under one of the mattresses, you run the test. The princess who tosses and wakes up is the one who felt the pea โ that is the real Princess Pea. The reward line literally restates the rule: the delicate princess can sense the pea under the mattress.
The candle and the treasure chest are just room dressing. Do not tap the sleeping princesses directly; they will not tell you who they are. The action is to move the pea from the plate under a mattress and observe who reacts. Once the sensitive princess wakes up bothered, the level clears.
Tips & Common Mistakes
- Mistake: tapping one of the sleeping princesses. You cannot identify her just by looking.
- Mistake: leaving the pea on the plate. It has to be placed under a mattress for the test to work.
- Mistake: ignoring the pea. The pea on the nightstand plate is the test object. Drag it under a mattress; the princess who wakes up uncomfortable (feeling the pea) is Princess Pea, and the level clears.
Replay Notes
When you replay this level, resist the obvious first instinct: the surface objects and the character's complaints are usually a distraction, and the real solution is hidden in an interactive detail most players never touch. Work through the scene once normally to see what the game allows you to drag, swipe, or shake, then combine the objects in an unexpected order rather than using them where they seem to belong. If you get stuck, remember that Brain Out 2 levels rarely require complex chains โ the answer is almost always one counter-intuitive gesture applied to something on screen. Reset, ignore the noise, and look for the single movable item that does not look like a tool.
